Golden hour has a way of making everything feel a little more magic, and for Paige and Jason, that magic showed up right on cue. Tucked into the gardens of Laguna Gloria in Austin, TX, guarded by stone lions and a cherub-topped fountain, framed by centuries-old oaks strung with fairy lights, Paige and Jason spent their morning doing exactly what they do best: laughing, dancing, and looking at each other like nobody else was around.

THEIR LOVE STORY

It all started on Hinge, the modern day love story, as Paige puts it! Their first date was at a boba shop, which might be the most Austin origin story we’ve heard yet.

The proposal came on a weekend getaway to Wimberley, TX. Paige and Jason spent the evening by a campfire, stargazing and making s’mores, when Paige made an offhand comment about how perfect the night was, and Jason took that as his cue. He got down on one knee and made the night even better than she could’ve imagined.

Paige loves Jason’s kindness, patience, persistence, and that smile of his. Jason loves how thoughtful and excitable Paige is, the care she puts into everything she does, and, of course, her cooking. And when we asked what they’re most looking forward to about married life? Paige can’t wait to keep growing together through every phase of life ahead, and Jason is just excited to have his person to share it all with, forever.

THE SESSION

Paige and Jason described their style as soft and classic, and it showed in every frame. They moved through two beautiful looks for the morning: a flowing navy dress paired with Jason in a crisp navy button-down for their time wandering the gardens, then a soft white dress for a quieter, more romantic set of portraits.

We spent the morning chasing golden light through the grounds of Laguna Gloria, down stone steps guarded by lion statues, past the fountain, and under an ancient oak strung with fairy lights. Then we ducked inside for a few quieter frames among vintage furniture and arched windows, because sometimes the best moments happen when you slow down.

FAVORITE MOMENTS

Some of our favorite moments from the morning? The pure joy on Paige’s face mid-twirl under that string-lit oak tree. The quiet, easy way Jason looks at her when she’s not watching. And the two of them walking hand-in-hand up the garden steps like they’ve got all the time in the world, because now, they do.
